How 617GIVE Works
If you have a smart phone then 617GIVE is by far the easiest way to tithe. To use 617GIVE simply text an amount to 617-GIVE(4483) and use the link in the auto response to complete the one time registration. Your carrier may require an area code (901) to send a text message. For any future gift 617GIVE uses the information you provided in the one time registration to tie your cell phone number to your payment information. That mean after your first gift all you need to do is text an amount to 617-GIVE(4483).
If you need to change the credit card you set up with 617GIVE text the word RESET to 617-GIVE(4483).
If you plan to use 617GIVE regularly you may want to add the number as a contact on your phone to make the number easier to find.
Currently 617GIVE only works for tithes and offerings and centralchurch.com/giving can be used to make a designated offering.
